Amedeo Avogadro

Amedeo Avogadro, an Italian scientist who originally studied law, performed experiments exploring both the relatively new area of electricity and the different properties of liquids. Avogadro became interested in the study of gases, and published a theory in 1811 about the movement of particles in gases that became known as Avogadro's Law.
